Triple planetary crisis, namely climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss which has been announced by the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) is the biggest challenge which will gradually threaten the lives of all living creatures on earth. Currently, the global community, including academics, researchers, business, experts, professionals, environmentalists and policy makers has been focused on finding solutions by implementing various strategies. On the other hand, rapid changes in the economic, technological, social and cultural sectors, market growth and increasing people’s purchasing power have resulted in an increase in human needs followed by massive exploitation of natural resources. This has the potential to produce greenhouse gas emissions and environmental damage that can cause the triple planetary crisis. In this context, sustainability is needed in a holistic way in the form of economic sustainability, socio-cultural sustainability and environmental sustainability.
